Walt Disney was born in 1901 in Illinois, USA. At the age of seven, he was selling his drawings to neighbors. Before he was 20, he was making films, and he was one of the first people to use animation. He created Mickey Mouse in 1928 and Walt Disney Studios went on to make many famous films. Disney opened the theme park, Disneyland, in California in 1955. He died in 1966.
