About the Author

Christine Hurley Deriso
Christine Hurley Deriso began writing children's stories after reading a story to her son's fourth grade class. Inspired by the students who cheered her on, Christine began writing an original story every week. This labor of love remains among her most fulfilling endeavors.

Christine, who presently serves as publications editor at the Medical College of Georgia, has written humorous essays and feature articles for many national publications, including: Parents, Ladies' Home Journal, Family Circle, and Child.

She and her husband, Graham, live with their children, Gregory and Julianne, in North Augusta, South Carolina.

Matthew Archambault
A graduate of the School of Visual Arts, Matthew Archambault always dreamed of being an illustrator. His passion is to create great paintings that inspire as well as teach. While Matthew has illustrated the covers and interiors of numerous books, he feels that Dreams To Grow On is the perfect keepsake to hand down to his own children.

Matthew currently lives in East Islip, New York with his wife Melissa and their pug dog Rockwell. As this book is being released, they are welcoming the birth of their first child.
