Inspired by the success of One Smile, Cindy McKinley felt compelled to write another circle-story. This time she wanted to emphasize that our words can be as powerful as our actions. She says, wouldn't the world be a better place if every one of us tried to do or say at least one nice thing every day?

Cindy believes that the simple concepts of compassion and kindness are the keys to removing barriers and promoting unity in our diversely beautiful world. Holding a masters degree in Teaching of Reading, she presently works as a writing instructor at Oakland Community College. Cindy lives in Milford, Michigan, with her husband, her sons Jordan and Justin, and their three cats.
