introduces young children and adults alike to many of the festivals celebrated in the melting pot of cultures within Asia and the customs associated with them. Based on meticulous research, this entertaining and informative collection of poems and songs will help children to better understand and appreciate the differences and commonalities of core aspects of family life in the various cultures within Asian society

The rhymes, songs, and activities are brought to life by Patrick Yee with his witty and colourful illustrations this delightful book will be a valuable addition to any child’s bookshelf, both at home and at school.

The upbeat rhymes and songs are captured on a CD which accompanies the book for children to recite and sing along to. 

The CD consists of songs and rhymes narrated by the authors and sung by the voice talents of William Royston and Zarrah Katrina Aloba from Julia Gabriel Communication.

The ‘Let’s Make’ activities provide hands-on experiences which guide adults and children to produce materials that can be used to enhance enjoyment and participation in some of the festivals.
