On Natsama's seventh birthday his grandmother tells him a sacred story: "At the beginning and ending of every day, dreambirds spread their wings. One wing reaches out to the sun, and the other reaches out to the moon. Whoever finds a dreambird receives a great gift."

As the seasons pass, the boy never forgets his grandmother s story. Determined to find the elusive bird and claim his gift, he becomes the best hunter in the village.

While seeking the dreambird, he encounters many challenges and disappointments that shape his spirit. Natsama's final success will inspire readers of all ages to discover their own inner strength and wisdom.
